2020: Newly tenured faculty member (Associate Professor, 2020-) at the United States Naval Academy
2016: David Seal worked as a postdoc at Michigan State University from 2012 to 2015, during which time he spent a summer visiting Oak Ridge National Laboratory. As of Fall 2015, he is a tenure track professor at the US Naval Academy.
