Update: Fall 2024, Started an additional role as Adjunct Faculty teaching Data Science Foundations to the M.S. Business Analytics students at the University of Redlands. I am still in my role as a Senior Product Engineer on the Spatial Statistics team at Esri.

What do you do? Do you use math in your position?
I recently transitioned out of Data Science Consulting and into a new role where I get to use my math degree even more! I work on the Spatial Statistics team at Esri (GIS Software) doing research and development for software tools at the intersection of statistics/computation and geospatial. I use math almost everyday, particularly in the research areas of my job, where we are developing novel analysis methods.
